For small-business owners: hire the person the team accepts, not just the best résumé
In a team of 5 to 40, one wrong hire touches everyone. How to use Team fit to see the seat you are missing, read an applicant's fit before the interview, and find a bridge when two people clash.
24 October 2026
In a large company, one person who does not fit disappears into the system. In a company of twelve, that person is one in twelve, and everyone feels it from the first week. Ordinary job boards help you "reach a lot of people"; they do not answer the question you actually ask: "will this person fit our team?"
Start from the team you have, not from the posting
- Create a team in Team fit and pick the organisation template that matches your business (restaurant, clinic, agency, factory, or general SME).
- Invite your people with a link. Each enters their own birth details in their own account; you never see anyone's birth date.
- Open the team overview once. It says who fits which seat, who should anchor the team, which pairs work well, and the seats to strengthen.
The seats to strengthen are where a job posting should start, not a feeling that "there is too much work, we need someone".
Tie the posting to a seat
When you post, choose the team and the seat the role will sit in. Applicants who agree to share show their team fit on the applicant card as a short phrase, such as "fits the seat", with one strength. No score, no birth date, and the system forbids ranking applicants by it. Use it as an interview question, not a verdict.
When two people clash
The whole-team block lists every pair, tensest first. A tense pair has a "see this pair" button, which shows where they complement each other, where to be careful, and three ways to work together. If it stays tense, "find a bridge" checks whether a third person, from the team or from the applicants, can be the glue. Often the answer to a team problem is moving someone you already have, not hiring.
Every Monday
Open the this week for the team email sent on Monday morning: who should take the big job this week, which day suits a whole-team meeting, and who needs a conversation. Two minutes a week that let you see the team before a problem reaches your desk.
The team plan starts at 290 baht a month, less than one posting on the big boards. See the plans or create your first team free.
