Arranging a team that fits, without judging anyone

What HappyJob's team-fit tool shows employers, how to read it, and the lines we don't cross.

A good team isn't the one where everyone is the best; it's the one where each person sits where they're strongest, and the pairs who must work together get along. The team-fit tool exists to help with that, not to screen people.

What it tells you

Once each member joins and saves their own birth details, the tool reads the team and says three things:

  • How each person fits their seat, in words: fits well, workable, or not the right seat yet, with a seat worth trying.
  • Strengths and what to hand them, a sentence or two per person.
  • Seats to strengthen: positions still empty or without a good fit, with a button to post a job for that seat.

Pick two members to see the "working pair": whether their rhythm matches and who should lead what.

Reading the result usefully

"Not the right seat yet" doesn't mean the person is weak. It means their current seat isn't their strongest field. The question to ask is: "Is there work in the team close to the seat the tool suggests, and can I try handing it to them?" Teams that adjust this way often see a change within weeks, without changing people.

The lines we don't cross

  • Results are information for arranging a team, never a reason to hire, not hire, dismiss or disadvantage anyone. Every employer commits to this before opening an account.
  • Employers never see anyone's birth date or time. Members save their details in their own account and can leave at any time.
  • There are no per-person scores. Numbers invite ranking, and ranking people with results like these is something we don't do.

When an applicant allows your company to see their team fit, the same kind of guidance appears next to their name in the applicant list, and the list's order never changes because of it.

Astrological results support your decisions. They do not guarantee any hiring outcome.
